If you and your friend (and one more roomate) have cars, I have a nice 3BR apt 1.5m south of campus.
Its currently occupied by graduate students, who are moving out end of July.
The apt is the downstairs of a 2 unit home. Quiet neighborhood, and a quick drive/bike into town)
It has plenty of parking, a screened-in porch out back, and a nice yard (with a little garden the current tenants were kind enough to improve upon).

My name is Emma and im looking to find someone to lease the large two bedroom apartment where I currently live for the upcoming 2013/2014 school year. The lease could begin anytime from June 1st until July 1st and would be for a year, which is the case with the majority of New Paltz apartments. Although its only a 2 bedroom, its 1000 sq. ft, so the rooms are extremely large, the bathroom is HUGE, and theres both a laundry room and dishwasher. Rent now is 1325/month, which is $441/person if split 3 ways, although the landlord might slightly increase the rent for three tenants. We are moving into a BRAND NEW 6-7 Bedroom house. Each room that is available is very spacious. The house is 1 minute walking distance from town 8 minutes to class. The house will have central air and ac. The house is 635+ utilities. Utilities are about $50 a month depending on how many housemates we find. We also have a washer and dryer in the house.
