I am a professor of
psychology and counseling at the State
University of New York at New Paltz, where I am currently Director of the
Counseling
Graduate Program.
My
scholarship focuses on
constructivism in psychology and psychotherapy. Constructivist
psychologists assume that people never know the world independent of a
perspective or framework. Thus, they study how people construct
meaningful ways to understand themselves and their world.
I am also
licensed as a psychologist in New York, where I maintain a small
private practice. |
