Clifton Meador: Clif was born at Fort Hood, Texas, in 1957 while his father was stationed there as an Army physician. After several years in Birmingham and Selma, Alabama his family moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in 1973. He was awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1980. In 1989, he earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Book Arts from Purchase College of the State University of New York . An associate professor of fine art at the State University of New York at New Paltz, Clif was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for 2003-2004 to go to the Republic of Georgia Clif loves to travel. |

Mary Neal Meador: Born
in 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee, Mary Neal (her first name is both words,
not “Mary”) graduated cum laude from Middlebury College. In
1980, she completed the one-year certificate course in Fine and Decorative
Arts at Christie’s in London. Following a stint working in the art
and antiques field, she began a career in graphic design at Open Studio,
a production facility for artists and poets in Rhinebeck, New York. After
working at the New York Observer from 1988 to 1992, she became a freelance
designer and editor doing work for such clients as Oxford University Press
, Routledge, DesignNewYork and Princeton Architectural Press.
Mary Neal enjoys knitting, yoga, listening to age-inappropriate music, and reading. |
James Meador: A freshman at Reed College in Portland, Oregon, James
enjoys music, rock climbing, travel, and politics. In fulfillment of the requirements
for graduation from the Poughkeepsie Day School, he interned for the Green
Party in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand. Since age fourteen, he has
been seasonally employed at the Mohonk Preserve.
He speaks pretty darn good Russian.

Wilson Meador: An obsessive consumer of Playstation, Gameboy Advance, and games for PC, Wilson has a much higher IQ than this would suggest. Blessed with energy and charm, he also has a very high AQ score . While he enjoys the company of intelligent adults, his favorite companions are chickens and cats. He is studying Arabic. He is eleven years old. |
