Where They Live : Southeast Mexico south to northern South America.

    The white-capped pionus is the smallest pionus variety of parrot. They are relatively quiet compared to a conure or macaw, but they can learn to say several phrases. When stressed, they make a wheezing sound which is alarming to people, but quite natural.
