I teach classes in general psychology, industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology, methodology, statistics, and the psychology of belief.

My research interests focus primarily on the experience of overqualification and its impact on employee attitudes and behaviors. I also study perceptions and behaviors in the employment interview, and the effectiveness of teaching strategies for psychology.

Finally,I am currently the chair of the SUNY New Paltz Psychology Department and the faculty advisor to the SUNY New Paltz chapter of Psi Chi.
