Trip to Maine

 

On their trip to Maine to visit Cameron, Megan and Andrew decided to go to the beach. The water was so _______ (TEMPERATURE-RELATED ADJECTIVE) and ________(ADJECTIVE). The waves were very ______ (SIZE-RELATED ADJECTIVE) so everyone decided to go surfing. Cameron rode a _______ (ADJECTIVE) wave for _______ (NUMBER) feet. Then Megan decided to swim like a ________ (ANIMAL). They had so much fun!

After the beach, they decided to go to a restaurant – so they drove to the Inn of Maine. From the outside, it looked very _______ (ADJECTIVE) so they decided to go in for a _________ (ADJECTIVE) lunch. The waitress gave everyone some ________ (FOOD) to munch on while she took their order. Cameron ordered first. She asked for ______ (NUMBER) ________ (PLURAL FOOOD) and a ______ (NOUN) to play with. Then Megan asked for a very _______ (ADJECTIVE) ______ (FOOD) with no ________ (PLURAL FOOD) and a ______ (NOUN) on top. Andrew ordered last. He asked for a large plate of ______ (FOOD) with a ______ (NOUN) on the side. Cameron said that she thought the waitress reminded them of a ______ (NOUN).  When Andrew heard that, he laughed so hard that ______ (LIQUID) came out of his nose.

 

Finally, the food arrived.  Wow, it all tasted like a ________ (NOUN). Megan asked for some crayons. The waitress brought some and they all drew pictures to remind them of the fun trip to the beach. Andrew drew a ______ (NOUN). Megan drew a ______ (NOUN) and a ______ (NOUN). Finally, Cameron drew ______ (NUMBER) ______ (PLURAL NOUN). It was so fun!

 

Finally, they drove back to Cameron’s house to tell Cameron’s mommy all about their day. Cameron’s mommy was very ____ (ADJECTIVE) to see them all.
