Where can I borrow an Ethernet cord from?
New for Fall 2008: Your RA staff will be distributing the Ehernet cables to first year students. Please ask your building RA for an Ethernet cable to connect to the Internet. The Student Help Desk will continue to be your support line if you run into truble connecting to the Internet.
Returning students should still come to the Student Help Desk if they need a cable.
At the end of the semester, you can drop your Ethernet cord off in the large box provided in your residence hall. Please return your Ethernet cord when you leave the campus, transfer to a different school, graduate or otherwise stop living in a SUNY New Paltz residence hall.
If you have any questions about Ethernet cords, please don't hesitate to call our office.
